I unplugged the wires to my sub in my eb with premium sound, didnt realise the key was on at the time and now it sounds like i have a guitar amp in the boot(loud buzzing and s**t)
What could i have done? I unplugged them because the sub isnt real flash anyhow, but i wish i didnt haha

this happened to my mums fairlane when she got a new cd player "profesionally installed", have a look for any wire that is bare and possibly touching any metal.
These profesionals just taped up the joins, really poorly, so i re taped them (didnt have my soldering iron or crimps) very tightly and re grounded the unit and it stopped the interferance. That noise is interferance from a short to metal or a poor ground. Whatever you unplugged just re connect it and check all the wires. if its not doing anything and you wanna dissconect it you could un plug from the sub its self and individualy tape each wire, not together and no bare copper. this is easy to reconnect. |
