Are they the ones that i put the link in my above post?? I've seen just the lamps without any wiring for $100 for the pair and then you can wire them however you like. I think the $200 for everything delivered isn't bad.. And then they are factory. You could try hunting around for secondhand ones..... But good luck. The $100 a pair ones are always one ebay.. just keep an eye out.

Its not really a straight fit if he has to mod it now is it mate? the lights can be mounted in the bar but remember the XT just wont have the wiring magically there to plug them in. you will need to run power to them and put a switch for them in your dash.
Cheers

By the way Mate, they are a straight fit which is what he asked. They DO fit in the bar as the mount is there just have to add the bar insert from a Ghia as the b/bar is the same if he couldn't get the one from a Ghia, he would have to modify the insert he has. I answered the guys question as to if they would fit. I answer these questions daily, I didn't mean to mislead him.

At one time there was a kit available for these from Ford and the dealer had to rework the bar insert but, like many accessories it was obsoleted. The lamps are available for $92.00 for the right p/n BA 15A201A and the left $84.00 p/n BA 15A202A, the wiring is $160.00 p/n BA 15W204AA.

Hope that clears up the inconsistency.

No offence Papa Smurf but Teza you dont need to swap inserts or modify the original one.... Its just a matter of cutting 3 tags about 4mm wide with a craft knife the hold the grille where the lights go. Well i guess you could say thats modifying it.
I just think that its one of the quickest, easiest mods to do to a standard ba and the results are awesome.. Well thats what i think anyway. Wouldn't want you to get put off thinking that it is a lot of work.
Was going to put some pic's up of mine but they are too big.. Dont know how to resize them..

Here is some of my research on springs for the BA..

Note that ride height figures (from BA XR original) should
be regarded as approximate as all cars will finish up slightly different.
Check out the galleries at each website also.

Options for a BA XR6 sedan (as at Sept '09):

1. Pedders "Low" Springs
Front: # 2624 spring
Rear: # 2633 spring
New hub to guard measurement 350mm, -15mm from XR std.
http://www.pedders.com.au/home

2. Lovells "Sport Low" Springs
Front: # FFL-102
Rear: # FRL-69SL
New hub to guard measurement 340mm, -25mm from XR std.
http://www.lovells.com.au/index.php

3. King Springs "Super Low" Springs
Front: # KFFL-57
Rear: # KFRL-68SSL
New hub to guard measurement 330mm, -35mm from XR std.
(Note: Many opt for the "ultra low" front spring # KFRL -57SL instead)
http://www.kingsprings.com/

Note: hub to guard = hub centre to top lip of guard

From what I have seen the resulting "rake" on the car varies from
slight to pretty well level, in all spring types. It's a hard one to
predict in my opinion and may simply vary from car to car.

Shock absorber selections are generally up to the individual, but some
spring companies do recommend a specialised or shortened shock to
suit their products. In particular, rear shocks need to be "captured" at
full extension. Insurance issues should also be checked with your
relevant company.

The front camber kit issue is always a yes or no debate. I vote
"yes", regardless of what the spring selection is. These may be a shim
type or ratchet type kit and they usually come with replacement
upper control arm bushes. Rear kits are also available for the BA, but I
don't know much about these at all.

For more info on two front camber kit examples see the following links....
