hi guys just wondering how the hell i can get the parcel shelf out of my ef without breaking the damn thing, i want to install the rear mounted brake light so its all legal and everything when i take the spoiler off.

It should already have the light there, but won't have a globe in it. You can replace the globe from underneath the parcel shelf, twist the globe holder out, pop a globe in and put it back in.

the light isnt there, it just has a blank black plastic thing there, it doesnt have any of the red reflective stuff.

Fold the back seat down, remove the speakers, remove the big christmas tree clips and from memory thats it. Will be a pain in the a** to remove the centre belt, so just lift the shelf without removing it and work around the belt. Good luck!

Interesting, have you got any pics of this by any chance, wouldn't mind changing mine out for something else.

the side C pillar plastics have to come out as well they hold each side of the parcel shelf down. maybe check if a bulb can be put in first, for some reason i remember mine looked like black plastic but it lit up red with a bulb in there but i havn't got the car here atm.
