Dont know too much on the topic but my automatic EF Doesn't change into 4th gear, I have taken it to a transmittion shop already and they had no idea. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

mine was doing this turns out the transducer was stuffed (speedo sender unit in the trans) also check to see if your power econ switch is plugged in.
Failing that go for a drive on the open road and see if it'll change at a higher speed Cheers Oh at the risk of sounding like an idiot you do have a 4spd in there right? |

Take it to someone who knows. Cant believe the tranny joint couldnt diagnose it.
I am suspecting a faulty solenoid in the box. Get someone who knows the electronics in these. Hopefully it wont be too expensive to sort it. Regards |
