hi all just woundering can i put a el or a au xr6 engine in my land cruiser i have a worked xf 250 crosflow in it at the moment.

question 1: are the bellhousing bolts in the same place on the el xflow as the xf.

question 2: are the engine mounts in the same place.

question 3: will it be hard to setup all the ecu or if i buy a complet engine will i just have to find a place to put it.

question 4: am i going to gain power or lose it.

any info would be grate thanks.

Can't help with the bellhousing but
For memory the engine mounts are in the same spot (need someone to confirm that though) But you will need to put the XF mounts on the EF/EL/AU engine

It shouldn't be hard to setup the ECU, you'll need a smartlock bypass box or a J3 Chip so the engine will start (chip might be better? so you can get it tuned for a big cam). Youll also have to get ether a manual ECU or do the resistor trick otherwise the engine won't be able to get to full power (the ECU will think the auto trans is still in park).

You'll gain power for sure!!!

can i use the ba or is the computer to complex. thanks
