Hey Guys
I'm looking at getting an Alarm for my BA, ontop of the Standard Smartshield. My First Question being, Is this Possible with out messing everything up? Are aftermarket Options possible, or is the only option the Factory Upgrade option? I would really like to have a Tilt Sensor / glass Break Sensor... Anyone have any reccomendations for an Alarm, and possibly places that do a good job in Adelaide. Cheers

Yep its definitely possible, I have the following in my car (2005 ba MKII);
Glass Break Sensor, Air Mass Sensor, Tilt Sensor, Extra Speak thing so its not just the horn that makes noise and with added battery in a locked box so even if they disconnect the battery the alarm keeps going. Also Automaticly locks all the doors when the car is started, and when the car is turned off all the windows go up automatically. |

It's dynamco gear for the siren and alarm , http://www.dynamco.com.au/ and the other stuff was gear my mate who used to be a pro installer had laying around spare. Not sure on brand names. It worth noting I had to get rid of the factory remote.
