Hey all, stripping my front bar which has had crap spilt all over it and is peeling the paint. In spots that it rubs through to the plastic do i have to put plastic primer on it or can i just use normal primer? or should i strip the whole bar back to plastic and start from sctratch? The damage is only to about 1/3 of the bar.
Cheers guys Lachlan |

pics would help, but u can just use plastic primer in those repaired/rubbed spots and then high fill prime those areas 3 or 4 times to build it up again. u will need to sand back high fill with a block to get rid of the joins in repairs though. make sure u give it a few days to go hard before sanding too, as it will shrink a little and then show up in the tops coats, when finished.
