got a bare 5.0l block out of a series 1 xr8. Pistons, crank and rods have been removed. also have heads, manifold and other parts if your interested. Everything is sepearted so if your keen on any parts shoot me a pm.

In the process of converting my XH 4.0 over to a 5.0. (I picked up a crashed XH XR8 a few years back - and put the running gear in my XF) Now im putting the v8 in the XH... Does anyone know what the go is with the steering? Obviously if its the same K frame, the steering rack should be the same and in the same spot? Is it just the power steering lines that are different? Anything else we should know of? (Air con/radiator) Cheers

Use the XH steering rack. Any e series rack will fit but steering racks fitted to EF EL XR's are better, a different ratio i think
you'll need to use the V8 accessories ie. aircon, aircon lines, PS pump and lines I have deleted the aircon and moved a few things on my ED. The PS pump is actually mounted a bit higher than in the pic
