im not really sure if this is the right forum for this question but o well, the lights in a bf icc, the shifter, and speedo can they b changed from green to blue without havin to buy all xr6 stuff. has anyone done this if so how and was it worth doing or should i get someone like an auto electrcian to do it...

did you just pull the old lights out or did you have to re wire in new ones. how did you get them in ur air vents... it looks sweet

unsolderd all the white light and install blue in its place i recommend getting real blue not purple xr crap...the air vent lights are just 5mm blue leds..
i really miss tht car

You just say that cause you couldn't get the real XR/FPV colour.

Matt has the real colour LEDs. I've changed the window switches from the stock white, to the matching XR/FPV blue. They looked out of place when everything else came factory blue.

Note, changing the LEDs requires desoldering/soldering SMD LEDs, they're tine little things, and if you're not an adapt hand at soldering you'll easily destroy the circuit boards. Get someone who knows what they're doing to do it, if you can't.

maybe i will say it again the xr/fpv lighting is crap just absolute poo.. be unique... not the same

thanks for ur help i sent matt an email but he doesnt do the shifter or icc lights is there any other places that might do it?
