Hi, i was wondering if this can be done.
i know about the door sensors, and i know its a bit of work to do. but I'm willing to do it, i just can't seem to find any diagrams or anything that can help me start this project. |

between that and you might want to check out the ef/el instrunment cluster tech as well for help fitting the sensors. Welcome to fordmods Also be aware make sure the cluster comes out of the same engine eg I6 or v8 as they wont mix, hopefully that makes sense because I can't seem to understand it anymore.

thanks for your welcome, yeah i know it's my first post i think, but yeah.
i want to setup the door sensors, once i work out how to do that. i'll ask the guy i got it off it was from a i6 or v8 before trying to fit it. can't do much at the moment any-way, car is in for repair as it looks like the coil/module as died. so yeah. |

I've heard the tacho runs differently, so while it'll work, the tacho will be a bit off.

In the EA-ED Falcons the cluster tacho is calibrated for the specific engine type.
In the EF-EL they are interchangeable and will work with either engine type. BenJ
