In the hunt for a El xr6 motor. needs to be in a good condition

I have one. Removed from a 96 EL XR6

Has done a bit over 230,000 does not blow smoke/use oil. Always serviced at a Ford Dealer using only genuine parts up Horsham way. I have owners manual but it locked away in the garage at the minute so i will have to get it tomorrow.

For an engine of its age and kilometres, IMO it made excellent power, is very punchy of the line and does not bog down. Coming from a ef xr8 into this thing i did noticed a drop in torque in comparion to the v8 and 6cy. Having said that the motor revs freely is very "light on its toes" if that makes sense.

Motor does have a sweat around the sump gasket, but this is easily fixed before the motor finds its way into an engine bay out. Again i have pictures of this I can forward you

Motor come with:
- Inlet Manifold
- Exhaust Manifold
- Water Pump
and
Everything from the rocker cover down

Motor does NOT come with:
- P/s Pump
- A/C Pump
- Alt
-Fly Wheel/Flex Plate
-Sandwich Plate
and
Injector wiring loom

If the above parts are a problem for you i could more than likely source them.

That's about all i can think of now, if i remember something that i have left out I will edit this post
