Hi All
I think i remember seeing a post with diagrams about this but cant find it. I need to adjust my headlights downwards in the my BF1 XT, i know about the knobs but not sure which knob does what and which way to turn it if i was facing the car. If the knob thread is going in (eg cant see very much) does that mean the reflector is going down or up? Also i cant seem to find 2 knobs on the drvier side but there are 2 knobs on the passenger side, which ones does what? Most appreciated the help guys Cheers Phil

There are two knobs on each side. As for which one does which, even the workshop manual doesn't say.
Sorry I can't be of more help, I did mine years ago, can't remember which one was for up/down.

 If I had to guess, I'd say the #1 knob would be the one to try first.

thanks mate, yeah i looked in the manual and nufin - pretty dodgy, i guess i will just have to start turning it and take note if the light is going up or down.

Ok figured it out - might want to post this someone for future reference
There are 2 knobs on each headlight The knob that is higher than the other one which is also pretty much behind you low beam globe adjusts the up and down of the headlight reflector. The other knob behind the high beam must do left and right although i have not moved this one yet so i am only speculating here - if anyone can confirm then go for it. If you are facing the car and working on the driver side headlight then turning the knob towards the engine will make the light go up, turning it away (left) from the engine will make the light go down. Same applies for the passenger side, but is reversed, turning the knob away from the engine will make the reflector go up and turning the knob towards the engine will make it go down. The easiest way to tell is if there is alot of thread showing on the knob then the reflector is pointing up wards. If there isnt much thread showing on the knob then the reflector is pointing down. Hope this clears things up for anyone who is trying to get the headlights adjusted. Cheers Phil
