hey fellas, what is causing the cigarette lighter to work but when i plug in a ipod connecter in or phone charger it doesnt do nothing? This is in a toyota camry.

Have you tried spinning the plug in the ciggy socket? It happens to my mums EA when connecting the Navman.

yeah did all that but its werid as. it should still all work

Hi. If the lighter works but an accessory plug doesnt its one of 3 things
1, A blown fuse in the centre contact of the accessory socket
2, A lighter insert makes contact on the "U" shaped spring contact at the sides of the socket and an accessory plug makes contact on the bolt htat holds every thing together, heat makes these bolts rust and they dont make a good contact
3. Someone has changed the socket and got the wires around the wrong way
