Read the can, or search fordmods for 'nightshades'.
It's illegal. |

Definately illegal....Found it out a few years ago when I tinted the tail light lenses on my Mk II Escort Coupe. Was let off with a warning but ordered to change the lenses over straight away or would be fined.

The trick here is to apply only a couple of light coats, to slightly darken the stark brightness. While still not legal, it is unlikely to be picked up on.
If you have already tinted your tail lights, take it in for the RWC/Pink Slip and if they pick up on it, then get another set to pass. But as mentioned above, for insurance purposes, you could be screwed big time. BenJ
