The originals were Bosch but most of the ones available around are good. I believe that you can get a good deal on Falcon ones @ebay for $75.00-$90.00 NEW.

I bought one from supercheap for $78. Brand on the box was Goss, but the pump was a VDO like the original ford ones.

i cant complain bout goss pumps, i've used a few and they've been around a long time.

mines a 'fuel miser' never had a problem with it.
I was using that brand for carby rebuild kits years ago.
