Hey, my ea is currently being turboed and im after some advice on what to do gearbox wise. Its currently running a t5 with xedy heavy duty clutch, but the box is starting to make some wierd noises. Just wondering what i can do, on a relatively low budget, to strengthen the t5 to take the 250 odd kw that i will be throwing at it. Or what are some of my other options? i wanna keep cruising economy as good as possible so either a 4 speed auto or 5 speed manual is a must, i would have like to go a toploader but the 1:1 final drive is turning me off. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

If i remember correctly pyroay xr6 is still running a T5 but it was sent to Mal Wood who rebuilt/strenghtened it with mustang inetrnals etc and Dansedgli is currently putting a manulised C4 in his ed turbo.

Id like a manualised c4 except for the fact they're 3 speed, i really need to be able to keep eceonomy down when i dont feel like giving it a flogging.
