hey guys i just put a ba intake snorkel on my ef xr6, how hard is it to put the whole intake on?

It is possible but you have to some "light tap" with a nice little mallet but i cant seem to find the thread at the moment :?

by whole intake you mean.
air box top and bottom
pipe to throttle body
and snorkel?

Intake Snorkel and Air Box Fit with modification unsure on the Pipe to Throttle Bod. Do a search there are some Threads already.

i have seen a few ef/el motors with ba intake pipes.
i had one come into work with it and it lines up perfectely to the throttle body no modifications needed to fit it

i can get it all to fit with no probs but the damn top of the air box is hitting the bonnet so i cant close it

You will have to batter the section under the air box, ffs do a search.

got it all in. the problem was that the top of the air box was hitting the bottom cover of the bonnet grille as my car is an xr6, so i just removed the grille cover and one of the screws. the only problem now is the when it rains water wont have a run off point from the bonnet grille
