hi guys im a newbe to this forum but i have a 98 el falcon that im having some trouble with,
it died when going up the road the other day no bangs or anything just as if you turned the key off now it wont start again, iv changed the dizzy cap and rotor and the ignition module (hurd this was a common problem) as the spark was week before now its fine but still no go, no blowen fuses, its getting gas and turning over ok just not fireing at all. any ideas would be much appriciated |

possibly could be a decent size vacuam leak.
is it lpg or petrol? if petrol it could have been the fuel pump.

it could possible be your fuel injectors, when my falcon didnt start for i changed the sparks but no go, got the mechanic in and he hooked up his comp to the engine and said the injectors were not responding he cleaned them and what not and she starts fine now.

if it just died in the a** suddenly, could be the coil. (EDIT, read that you have spark)
when you turn the ignition on, can you hear the fuel pump whirring? if not, then id be centering on that.
