Hmm, i have a gallon of it left, wonder what i can do with it, maybe use it as some kind of crazy two stroke oil in the ol mower

Bugger, I never realized that this could happen using that additive. I was thinking of getting some of that to quieten the diff on my little beast, I guess I will have to think again...

that’s fairly impressive in other words don’t add additives as it changes the chemical composition on the original oil thus making its intended purpose useless?

Sure sounds like it. I need to add something into my diff oil to quieten the diff bearings for a little while, I think I might go with the Nulon stuff as the Genuine Ford additive is like Poison... $180.00

I use Nulon, have done for about 15 years or so, and haven't had any probs with it. I use it in my Falcon and my Honda motorbike.

i've never seen the point in oil additives. If you buy the correct and decent oil to begin with it should be sufficient. Oil companies do spend time and resources in developing there oils, where additives are just some generic stuff for any oil. You see that Wynns add on TV where they take a brand new car and tip a bottle of Wynns additive into everything, why?
