As per title, I have a stock AU metal one or the thicker perforated looking one that comes with pacemakers. I got the stock AU one as I thought the one coming from my paceys might be shot, but after taking it off it still looks pretty fresh.
Have had an exhaust place tell me the stock AU one was better but provide no further insight (i.e. pulling it out of their a***?). Opinions.

I have used aftermarket manifold gaskets from Bursons, inlet and exhaust, a couple of times now with no apparent issues. For manifolds, I don't see there being much difference. As long as they seal correctly, it is all good.

Yeah, I was just interested, will most likely put the one I got with the pacey's back on as it is fine apart from a bit of colouring.

I used the OEM type gasket....have no probs with it. I also used Copper Maxx sealant with it. Has been on there for a couple of years, no leaks.
