hi

if you were to use the following pinouts for the ipod connecctor and made a adaptor to plug in the usb stick or cut the plug off on the interface would it be possible to adapt the ipod plug on those jvc/kenwood ipod interfaces to plug in a usb stick and control the music from the usb stick on the ipod interface through the car stereo so you can listen to music on a usb stick

15 GND Ground (-), internally connected with pin 16 on iPod motherboard
16 GND USB GND (-), internally connected with pin 15 on iPod motherboard
23 5 VDC (+) USB Power 5 VDC (+)
25 Data (-) USB Data (-)
27 Data (+)

or is there another way to hook up a usb stick to a ipod interface that plugs into a cd changer socket to listen to music on a usb stick

I have no idea if that would work, but how are you going to control it anyway??
