with the ecu cover did you use the same process ?

Not yet - haven't tackled the ECU cover really - considering just buying a billet look cover.

Not sure how to remove the cover to actyually work on it at the bench.
Don't really want to do it "in-car"

What process did you use to do the thermostat cover and the rocker cover ?

Old fashioned wet and dry rubbing by hand. No tools used

Plan to revisit the rocker cover with some power tools to get it rubbed back further - has quite a lot of cast pock marks I think I can grind out without too much effort.

Just a bit rubbed out at the moment :)
Have some gardening to catchup on now the warm weather is here.....
