I don't know if someone can help me. I have an XG Ute and went to open it yesterday but it wouldn't open. I've tried to pull the cable under the dash but its extremely tight and won't move. The problem is I cant get under the bonnet to see whats going on!

If anyone has seen this before, are you able to tell me how to fix it please.

Hey Tom,

Ive had this happen with my Xg aswell. Not sure if its the same reason but i find ill pull the hood cable and it wont pop by itself until i push down on the bonnet.Give that a shot and see if it works.

maybe get someone to push/pull on the bonnet as u pull the cable, might work.
in the crash shop we sometimes had to use a long flat head screwdriver from underneath and unscrew the pin out of the bonnet if the other way didnt work, not sure if it will work on an xg though.
