I have a 97 NL Fairlane which is a beauty. I have had the front rotors-pads-wheel bearings & shocks/springs along with the rear springs, shocks & also the ball joints replaced.
There is a constant squeak/chirping coming from, I think the front end mainly, every time there is any load put on the car, speed humps, road variations, driveways etc. Nothing when turning or cruising. Can anyone assist me with how to get rid of the noise please? |

I had the same thing in my EL, if you have already replaced all those things its probably your bushes in the camber kit/top arm. If they wear out they start squeaking, and if they get replaced with urethane bushes (like i did) to try and get rid of the noise, they still keep squeaking
It does get annoying though, i just put up with it now though |

It has something to do with the brake pads. My car did the same thing, made a rattly, metallic squeaking noise running over small sharp bumps in the road. But the noise i found was coming from the rear of the car, a while ago i had my brake rotors and pads changed, squeaky rattle gone.
I know it wasn't from the front-end, but hope that helps... |

I know you said you changed the springs, but try this anyway..
got some silicon spray or whatever and liberally spray/grease the inner shaft of the shock (the shiny bit ) my EA squeaked like crazy till I did that.. and then it stopped for a month.. so then I slatered graphite grease all over both sides and never heard from them again. good luck. rgds Frank |

Thanks for the help, all who replied. The Silicone Spray on the front bushes has done the trick. Cheers :
