Do i need a 6AL or 7 AL-2 with an EMS 4424 on my el v8?

Are they just a carby thing or do EFI ppl use them?

don't need one, but they will give you a stronger spark.
yeah EFI people use them, i've got a crane Hi-6 CDI on my thing.

pretty sure the EMS ecus work with the ford TFI so you don't even need a seperate ignitor, but you'd probably want to double check that.

Yes, EMS will run the factory TFI. Not sure how, but uses the pip signal.

yep im running an ems using the ford tfi..
im using the pip signal from the tps and using the ems no 1 ignition output with a resistor to the spout input of the tfi module.. using the tfi as a coil igniter with the factory coil....

i only got mine cause it popped up cheap, didn't need it.

the 7ALs are fukking expensive aren't they?

i wouldnt say its a total waste..
but depends what your after?? and how much money your willing to spend??
are you running forced or na??

in some cases you can get the same results on the std stuff..

running forced. Can get one in USA for $180 US which is $194 ish aud.
So should i get it?
Which rev limiter do you use? MSD or EMS?
