Auto and manual starter motors for E series 5.0 the same? I had a look at each side by side and they looked the same to me

Sure are mate, mine was auto, now manual, starter started it up same as always not a thing went wrong. The only thing i know of, is the old Falcons (XY etc) used a spacer plate for the manuals/autos, but the E/AU series etc, it doesn't matter.

Not sure about early Windsors but that was definitely a Cleveland thing. That must be what im thinking about then, i knew it was something along those lines. |
