Hey guys
im looking for some hood scoops for a EBII S. after installing the new genie's today the engine bay got noticably hotter and melted my windscreen washer fitting, and fuse holder. looking to spend not much money but i also want something that will last and not die after the first bit of heat. could someone point me in the right direction? i am located in Sydney. but wouldn't mind using Ebay.
Thanks for any help
Thorsten

this guy sells them, he may sell u just the 2 outer ones if u ask. use sikaflex to hold them on to your bonnet. looks like u need to cut the vents into the scoops too.

why does your car run hotter with extractors, i fitted pacemaker 4499s to my el, and u can touch them with the engine running, for half a second without burning yourself, my engine bay is cooler with them.

I guess its a bit of an issue that there wasnt a heatshield anymore. i put some heat resistant fiberglass stuff next to the extractors which helped drammaticaly but i just want to be on the safe side and keep engine bay temps down so it doesn't burn down cause of some stupid thing thats melted. :D
