Hi Ford Modders,
I'm thinking about upgrading my ED 5.0L Ignition to the BPT gear like,
Live wire leads or the Ford Racing 9mm leads,
Dyna Mod TFI module,
Screamin Demon coil,
And the Blue dizzy cap/rotor.

What are peoples thoughts on this?,
or is anybody already using their stuff?

Any advice will be appreciated,
Cheers Jason. :)

I did have all that stuff, but burnt through a couple of the leads and the coil packed it in, so I ended up replacing the whole lot with MSD gear and haven't had a problem. Still have the TFI in there though. The MSD looks a whole lot better, if you ask me and I think it comes in cheaper, too. Give A1 HiPerformance a call and get a price off them for MSD dizzy cap/rotor, leads and coil.

Thanks for that Scaffy, does the MSD dizzy cap come in blue or just red?,
It would be GR8 if they did make the blue cap but if not i'll think about getting the one from BPT?.
as i'm wanting the blue gear!
Did you notice a differance with the DYNA MOD TFI in there?,

Thanx man, :D

Nah, MSD only do the cap in red.

I did notice the difference in the tfi because mine was cactus and shutting me down every now and then.

How much they want for the blue cap? I think I've got mine sitting around somewhere. PM me if you want to check it out.

I wanted to have all blue in the engine bay as well to be a bit different, but that didn't really work out for me. Haha.
