My friend was interested in a nice looking xd V8.....
So i went to have a look at it as i tend to know a bit more about cars, i told him not to bother as the engine oil was a milky grey colour, which to my knowledge means water is mixing with the oil, is that correct. Also it was blowing a reasonable amount of blue smoke.
Is the engine screwed?!?

milky grey? yup, blown head gasket or cracked block.... also means the oul is probably older than methuselah..... normally oil mixed with water after a blown head gasket turns this caramel fudge kinda colour

yeah, but it can also depend on what coolant additive is in the water which can cause the oil to go a milky colour...

Engine is rooted, give it a miss. New rings at least, and head/s, block maybe, sounds crap to me.

Yeah you could just find the price of a rebuilt V8 for it and just off to take off that amount from the price of the car purchase.
