For those who live in NSW ( I don't know if they have something like this in other states) VG Auto Paints at Girraween run these every month at their paint retail/wholesale shop.

MiniSmurf and I went to one today and it was bloody great, much to see. There were 2 blokes running the show and showed everyone how to repair dents and how to fill them, then sand, then prime/putty and then paint, they also completed this with a little show of buffing and you could even have a go at painting a part of a door they had set up.

I would suggest to anyone who is envisaging doing repairs to their cars that they might want to go and have a look at what they have to teach. I believe it was 3.5 hours well spent this miorning for me and MiniSmurf.

Hey Papa smurf, I'd like to attend one of these when I come to Sydney next march.
Perhaps I could teach them a few lessons about buffing cause most paint mobs cant buff so well
