Go for the TopGun MAX 300 leads. They have the lowest resistance of all leads that i have tested.
For example: Number 1 lead just under a meter is approx. .514 ohms. The closest lead to that was the NGK lead & had approx. 1.4 ohms. The TopGun 8.8 lead has approx. 2.5 ohms.
A std. lead has approx. 6-8 ohms.
I haven't had the plesure of testing the MSD lead yet.
Soory buddy the champion lead has to be the worst leads i have every seen.
If you have a EL with distributor the ignition leads are very, very long, so the lower resistant leads will benifit everyone.

Just curious.. why are leads sold as EA-ED but don't could the EL? would the ED leads not fit the EL? aren't they essentially the same motor/dizzy?

the leads come through the manifold at a different point, the lead clips on the top of the rocker cover are at the front on EA-ED but at the back on EL, the EL ones are longer.

I bought some Top Gun Max 300 leads recently (after being recommended Eagle leads by an auto elec). They're made for LPG engines. Autobarn tells me that Top Gun will supply individual leads, where Eagle wont'.

I fitted a set of EA-ED leads to my EF engine (with dizzy) and split them into 2 groups to run over the AU rocker cover. Just had to get another No. 6 lead.

The engine seemed to run a bit smoother after installing them.

been chasing a miss, relpaced my ngk 8mm leads over the weekend with eagle eliminators 9mm. measured the ngks and they were realy high resistance , they were just over a year old.
runs sweet now with the eagles, which are recommended for gas too. eagles have a very firm click onto the spark plugs and cap which is good, and a 20,000km 5 year warranty
also eagle leads are available seperately here
