Any one know how thick the walls on extractor primary pipes are, I know they will vary but I am thinking 1.0mm to 1.2mm.

More than likely they would be 1.6mm WT. Unless it's cheap crap, and it would be anybody's guess as to the thickness.............
Cheers Daz

Thanks Daz, I have been looking at extractor primary pipe size in relation to the valve throat size, I have had my exhaust port/valve throat machined to 34.80mm which is 85% of the 40.90mm exhaust valve. There is a general consensus (among others) that the primary pipe I/D should be the same as the valve throat, this is to maintain exhaust gas velocity aiding in scavenging, My extractor primaries are 38mm O/D less 3.2mm makes 34.80mm I/D so fluked that one because I've had the extractors way before doing the head work. Thanks, another small piece of the puzzle sorted.
