I have white smoke when i start the car for about 10 seconds, then after about 5 minutes it starts again.
This car has not been driven for about 6 months and just sits there but i do start it about 2-3 times a week for 10 minutes. Also i noted that there was a burning smell coming from towards the master brake cycender and a pool of water. The last thing that does not seem good that there is oil looks like old oil all tough around the 5 and 6 spark plugs. Does this sound like i might have to replace the head gasket? and any ideas on price? Last edited by FORD FALCON EB on Tue Oct 27, 2009 7:57 pm, edited 1 time in total. |

it could possibly be a head gasket on its way, or even a ever so slight crack in the head..
check the oil to see if there's any milkiness in there.. also check what your pressure gauge read?? last but not least, "DOES" NOT DOSE". i think you have more problems with your spelling then with your car

i no the car isn't being driven but does it drink a lot of coolant if any?
how many km's does the motor have on it? and has it had a head gasket change? if so when? it can cost anywhere between 900-1600 for a head gasket change

Try taking all the spark plugs out and then have some one turn the motor over while you watch and see if any water pops out of the spark plug holes while its being turned over
