No EF or EL brake callipers are not a straight swap for an EB due to the different handbrake methods used

LP is correct regarding the different style of handbrake used.
It is however possible to mod the EB cable arrangement to work with the EF/EL rear brakes. If you wish to do the rear brake conversion on your EB diff you will need to use EF/EL backing plates, rotors, calipers, weld on all the EF/EL handbrake cable brakets and mod the EB metal brake lines to work with the EF/EL calipers. This is much simpler if you just put in an EF or EL diff. Alternatively, you could just go and purchas the correct tool to rotate the piston from Super Cheap. And seeing as you only have to change the rear pads once every couple of years, that would be much easier and cheaper. BenJ

If i was you l rather not to use el of ef rear brake as they use thin wall small rotor and smaller rear bore piston caliper than ED model are better setup this way
