But then I wonder.. would an 3.2 head from a EAI fit onto a AU block? Add boost hmmm.

Yeah that's what I figured, it wasn't my ED. Was a wreck I ripped the head off to fix my EA. But yeah, that's what I thought as well, have seen EF's with 94AB heads, so the ED might've been a later issue.
The guy who wants my ED head was under impression it won't work on his EFII, but am sure it will
