Ride: 1997 NL Fairlane

VIC, Australia

I recently bought the former-family car off my old man, Am interested in converting to 5spd Manual, but not sure how to go about it. If someone can tell me exactly what parts i'll need to convert, and also when you convert do you need a bigger diff?? I've got a dual fuel system in my car, if converted will it affect the LPG system?? Cheers, NLPWR4EVR - (Has done nearly 280,000km)

Hi, and welcome to Fordmods.

You should find most of what you want to know in here.

Manual Conversion Guide Thread

We encourage you to use the search function, found at the top of the page, and read through a few of the build threads found in the Garage section.

In answer to other questions you have, no LPG has no effect on the type of transmission you use, and you don't need a bigger diff.

Cheers
BenJ
