Ride: 1994 Ford EF Fairmont Ghia Sedan

Location: Melbourne
VIC, Australia

Hey guys,

Thought that this would be a good area to post. If it has been covered before, my appoligies but could not find it.

I currently have an 1995 EF falcon GLi and was wondering if i could do a conversion from a XR8. i.e. remove the engine and gearbox and put them into the GLi.

Now i am aware that the ECU and dash and stuff will need to be changed. Not a prob as i am looking at getting a wreck through the auctions but just want to know if it is possible and how hard would it be?

Thanks

I would go with a wreck hit in the rear as with XR8 front suspension is different including the rack ,front springs and rear axle the rest is just bolt up saves chasing V8 engine bits pieces

gassa

You won't need to change your instrument cluster. Otherwise search away, this has been done to death. A donor car is the way to go though.

That link didn't work but if it's an EF V8 that's all you need.
