I've just noticed the last few days that when I unlock with the remote, the driver's side rear door sometimes unlocks - sometimes it doesn't.
Pushbuttons - lock unlock lock unlock - a few times with the remote and then I can usually get it to open. Common problem? Any fixes or is there a part that sounds like it is on the way out? It's a BA Mk2 XR6 Cheers

its a common problem ,the door actuators start playing up, where the little motor within doesnt put out enough torque to lock / unlock the door.
best bet is to replace the bad actuator, they are around $160 |
