My EB1 is duel fuel. I have made the best of this by using a BBM intake, and an EL Tickford Gas Duel Fual ECU which has LPG specific spark maps. While I loose a little bit of power on Petrol due to the mixer restricting max airflow, I am more than happy with the performance on either fuel. Re your question, yes you can run deditcated LPG, and you can then have a head shaved to up the compression. I plan to up the compression myself, using a Tickford head, and run premium petrol to allow for the increase. I do drive 90% of the time on LPG, but like to have the petrol option there for the extra power and a bit of fun, but also for the extra range. I usually run my LPG dry and then switch to petrol. This way I get the most kms out of each tank of LPG. Hope this helps. Cheers BenJ

Personally i think duel fuel cars are no good
I owned a duel fuel previously and the LPG doesn't last, you get a performance loss, and nor do you really save alot of money on fuel. You're better off getting a factory fitted dedicated LPG car or a dedicated petrol one. A duel fuel car is basically asking for a half baked meal Just IMO |
