I am looking at raising the ride height by 4" inches on the front end and the rear end....

as i do a bit of offroading and want to keep my current vechile since spending $4000 on a injection gas kit.

What should I be purchasing in order to gain an extra 4 inches ground clearance?????


my origional idea was to install a set of territory wheels and tyres.... as they are
P235/60 R17 tyres but i tried and got tires rubbing my guards on full lock left and right
if the vechile is 4 inches higher i wont have this problem true..

You could start by fitting the RTV spacer blocks at the rear spring mounting points. Also l have a new set of 750kg ute springs that will lift your body also. pm me if interested l am in mill park

i checked out the rtv spacer blocks no good they'll only lower the car more the diff is above the leaf spring...
its 500 odd dolars anyway

i had a better idea im going to a wreckers and im taking some leaf springs of a ford wagon, im going to take out the 2nd and 3rd leaf and the lower 2 as well, from both sides and slap them into my leafs setup cheaper than heavy duty springs

The spacer I meant r the ones that go between the rear hanger brkt and the side rail u can make the out of 50mm square tube not the ones that fet on top of the leaf springs go two the ford dealers and have a look on the the sare parts computer
