The 4499 should fit easy, the 4480 will not fit if its on gas, but will fit fine on petrol

is it hitting the intermediate shaft or the actual steering rack.

If it is the 4480's you need to undo your steering shaft thing from the rack. The 4499's are meant to go on without doing this but I haven't used them so can't confirm.

found this in pacemaker fitting instructions. Unbolt lower bolt in steering shaft, and just loosen upper bolt so that the steering shaft can slide up
and off of the steering rack . music too my ears
