I have installed EB XR6 seats in to my XG They fit straight in no problem.

ok if it has a bench seat, it's not a straight swap, it requires a few holes added i believe.

xh they went on to use the same run bench or bucket, but xg etc. isn't set up for change overs as easy.

you will find the threaded holes are there you may have to cut holes in the carpet/rubber and they may have gromets in the holes..

I have a set of NA Fairlane (EA) seats in my 92 XF ute and they bolted straight in.

ED seats WILL NOT bolt straight into most XF's, only the late XF utes and panelvans had the XG/EA-ED style seat mounts

i think from 89 model and up will.. as my neighbours xf ute was a 89 and the ea seats went straight in..
so yea i guess from 85 to 89 would have been x series??
