Hi,
I tried searching but couldn't come with much, anyway I was told by my mechanic my rack ends are worn and can either replace the rack ends, or replace the whole steering rack as for a car with 200,000 k its probably worth it considering the possible life left in the rack. Just wondering what's involved in replacing the whole steering rack myself, or possibly just the rack ends as I've got a week off next week? Cheers, Aydin |

Pretty easy to do.
Unbold old one and bolt up new one. Make sure they are same lenth before you drive it off to get alignment. It will make a mess when you undo fluid lines. Don't forget to top up again |

Make sure you lock the steering wheel in centered position before dropping off the old one or you'll have issues.
(been there done that) |
