Ford Falcon EL 98"

had my car lowered a while ago...the mechanic asked me if i was going to put rims onto my car so he could lower it accordingly, i said no at the time...was on the stock factory wheels when it got lowered.

and here i am planning on getting new rims now. lol

he said it was just below tickford height. What size rims can I put on? 17"? bigger?

I also need some recommendations for some Rims for the front. I want them to be black or grey. And look cool. Keep in mind ill be running stockies at the back. Is this dangerous?

cheers guys

why do you want to run stockies on the back???????????? (fully sick burnouts or something lol)
if your going to do that there is no point getting wheels to make the car look better..
as it will look like crap with mags on the front and stockies on the back..

and ive heard it is now illegal to run odd size rims from front to rear in some states..??

I just like the look.

Dunno if its legal.

If its not I guess I will get mags for all wheels. so what mags would you suggest and is my car too low?

17's are the max for your car im pretty sure. And i think it's for all states running diff size wheel on either front or rear.

I have been told this.. not sure if it is an accurate guide but it was like

90% of average wheel and tyre packages are as followed;

14 and 16 = same diameter

15 and 17 = same diameter

16 and 18 = same diameter

so in theory you should be fine not touching the lowarderedness of your car aslong as you run 17s no bigger. BUT stockies on rear is GAY!!! like techno viking gay

Depends on what size tyres you are running.... Remember that it will also effects your insurance, think its something like 25mm wider than standard and the overall rolling diameter no more than 15mm more than standard. But dont quote me on that. Thats for Vic anyway. :D

Mate, if you want to run stockies on the back, sell your Falcon, and go and buy a VL Commodore.

You will fit right in!!!!

It looks absolutely crap!!!

Running stockies on the back will attract the cops as well and im sure they will give you some defects and wreck your day.
