i'm replacing the front brake pads on my AUII Fairmont

but for the rears, the car has ABS, what kind of "pads" do i need for the rears? some disc thing.. what do u call it again?

and another general question regarding brake pads.
if i put say Bendix General CT on the fronts, do i need to match the rears with specific Bendix ones? or it doesn't matter? cheers

Get brakes for your car and the discs will have it already fitted.

You can mix and match pads front to rear.

it's just that i'm putting new pads on the front, and i'm not sure whether i need a clean set at the back (which has ABS)
with pads it's easy to tell - i just look at how thin the pads are. but with the ABS rear, how do i tell?

There is pads at the back just like at the front unless I'm missing something.

ABS has nothing to do with the pads. If the pads are low replace "them". If they aren't then leave them.

i got the front pads today, and they look much "longer" in size than the ones on my mate's falcon.
i guess bendix did some upgrade recently
some of you may know about their recent 'Stealth' model
it looks like marketing to me, not much noise reduction for such a large loss of pad mass
