Hey there guys
First of all please excuse me if I have posted in the wrong forum I have pretty much just completed a manual conversion in my ef xr6. The spigot bearing that i have put in is a normal ball roller bearing not a needle roller bearing is this a big issue or does it not matter? I have been told a few conflicting stories and just wanting to clear it up before i finally chuck the box on. Cheers

as long as its the right size to fit in the crank and fits nicely over the spigot shaft it will be fine..

When i did it on the old EB I asked for a spigot bearing and was given a generic bearing that suited the shaft etc. it will be right as long as it fitted snug in the flywheel and the output / input (whatever) shaft fitted should be sweet.

the roller bearing type is a genuine item.. can still be brought from ford, and the sealed bearing is an aftermarket equivilant...
