sounds good, i think if it isn't the battery normally its the battery holder separating from the chip... (happens on most central locking remotes not just fords) they just soldered on a bit better, alot easier to get someone with the right tools to do it as its very tight to get a soldering iron in, p.s take it easy on the capslock

hehe. lost count of how many i had to do... but never did the same one 2ice in 4 years!

i've re soldered ours about 10 time now. what i should have done was solder the terminals and then set the whole thing with some epoxy to stop it from rattling loose again.

still working gr8.very happy. ..only $20
