hi,just wondering if anyone knows of a good spray to make the paint stick better when i spray my ef door panels (again). the first go i used the vinyl paint, but within a week there were scratches in paint. looks beautiful in black with gray cloth and chrome handles, but i need something a little better so i can redo the door panels and maybe some interior plastics

A mate of mine was telling me that he used some sort of trim adhesive on his door trims, its available in a spray can but cant remember the proper name ! Best just ask your local Automotive store !

I used Septone plastic adhesion primer and then a mixture of VHT and Septone vinyl/plastic spray when i did the interior on my EF, havent had a problem with mine yet so id suggest you use a adhesion primer first to ensure that the paint sticks as best it can. Also make sure the trims are completely clean before spraying (use methylated spirits or wax and grease remover) or else the paint will just rub right off.

Yea to clean the surface i recommend "K&H Wax & Grease Remover" it works heaps well and you get a bit for your money they also do a spray can version !
