Hi im not sure if i posted this in the wrong place, didn't think it should be in 6Cyl.

Well i put an EL Ghia dash into my EL Sapphire, everything was working, until around 2 weeks ago. The needle on my speedometer is flickering around as i accelerate. If im going 30km'h the needle bounces between 20 and 40. I was told it could be the speed sensor or a faulty dash, im going to get the motor for the needle replaced this weekend hopefully it will fix it. Does anyone have any idea what it could be.

If i posted this in the wrong section please tell me, couldn't decide where it should go.

It is quite easy to swap the speedo motor from your old dash to the Ghia one. The motor should just pull out, and then push in the new one.

Could that be the reason its ticking around like that though?

My old EF Fairmont Cluster speedo started sticking at around 80ks, and I swapped in another solenoid from a GLi cluster I had and it worked fine after that.
