I dont have a trip meter. worked it out manually. i will put a new fule filter in sometime this week.
honestly you can watch the neddle move. How can i tell if the guage is faulty?

you can tell the gauge is faulty if it says empty and you only get 20l into the tank when you fill it :roll:
if you are working out fuel consumption manually, the car is running fine, and you can't find any leaks, then someone is siphoning your tank.

if you can afford to drive it every day drive a bloody V8 better on fuel

But from everything said, looks like you've got a leak or someone's stealing your fuel (or has in the passed, with the good ol' screw driver into the tank method).

soemthing doesn't add here. 50L/100km and you say it doesn't foul the plugs?

either your math is wrong or you have leak. the next question, are the injectors even big enough to spray enough fuel to see the gauge drop?.
